When you created the group booking, you chose either hard or soft allocation. You also had an option to choose a "Release Date". A "Release Date" is a date that you set when a Hard allocation will "release" to a soft allocation. Once the Group Booking is created you can turn on or off the "Release Date" or change the date itself. 

To edit the Release Date:

Locate the group booking and open it. In the Booking Data Tab, under Group Data, you will see a field called "Release to Soft" and "Release Date". Edit these fields as needed and click save.
