If you ever can not release a Out Of Order (OOO) assignment 'normally', here is a way to do it.

Find when the room started being set to OOO by using the Tape Chart and going backwards in time till the first date it was set OOO. Then, click on the Room and 'Mark OOO' from that day to 'today' (the date you wish to release it from OOO), save it, and now the OOO assignment was made with its proper record of 'from' and 'to' saved.

This is a workaround when something funky like that happens.
