When A Same Day Check In and Check Out Occurs, I Can't Check Anyone Into the Room. Why?



This is a common support question. For example, if a Guest checks in on 7/25 to room 610, and then checks out on 7/25 - the same day. The booking states 'checked out' but no one can check into that room via the Tape Chart as it still shows the Guest name in room 610.

When doing a same day check in & check out you cannot put a new booking in via the tape chart because the prior booking still displays.  However you can re-rent the room. To re-book the room simply go to Book by Availability (or Inquiry), start a new booking for the desired room type (or choose an existing booking) and assign the desired room from the Room drop down on the New Booking Window or from the Room Assignment tab - either way, the room 610 is bookable as soon as the original booking has been checked out.
