Migration to Other PMS Systems, Exporting Data from BookingCenter

We have a number of articles that can help with exporting data from BookingCenter if you wish to leave our service.

 

The first and most comprehensive is the use the Search Bookings function under the BOOKINGS TAB in the Front Desk. See Search Bookings in the online manual.  This will teach you how to make custom queries to get the 'subset' of bookings desired for your needs.

 

To export a list of all of your Guests, go to SETUP | RELATIONSHIPS | GUESTS. See,  Export All Guests to a File. and Guests in our online manual.  This provides a complete list of all Guest data stored in BookingCenter.

 

If you wish to save a financial record of all folio transactions in BookingCenter, we recommend the Transactions Report for exporting Folio transaction activity.

 

Because you will wish to have a record of any Advanced Deposit (AD) or Advanced Charges (AC) applied to future bookings, use these links to learn about the data and reports to access Advanced Charges/Deposits.

 

Finally, because you may wish to know what, if any specific Folio charges have been applied to future bookings, use the Item Analysis report to get a list of Charges, and their booking IDs, to post any Folio Charges (“Items”) for your future bookings.

 

We also support a complete list of XML messages (based on Open Travel Alliance, so they are 'industry-standard') that get detailed data from BookingCenter, which you can review here.  Keep in mind, we only provide credentialed access to XML web services to customers who have signed an NDA and are part of our Web Services agreement.
