ADA Compliance Booking Engine

BookingCenter has 4 Booking Engine Templates that meet ADA (American with Disability Access) Compliance. This means our templates meet the highest standards of ADA Compliance using World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 AA). The templates that are ADA compliant (as of 2020) are 01, 02, 03, and 04. The 'legacy' template is mostly compiant but doesn't rates as high, and won't get further attention to the ADA standard, so we recommend one of the other templates, which you can read more about here.

What Is ADA Compliance?

The Americans with Disabilities Act (also known as ADA) is a comprehensive civil rights law that was enacted to protect individuals with disabilities from discrimination. In 2010, Title III was added to the ADA to ensure that standards would also apply to website accessibility.  The ADA uses The World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 AA) as the guideline for accessibility. Please note that BookingCenter only providex ADA Compliance on your Booking Engine, not your website. Please consult your website designer for ADA Compliance testing and for any necessary updates that need to be made.
