Restricting A COMTROL Booking From Receiving PostingsThere are times when a guest does not have charge privileges, and the staff must manually prevent them from receiving postings. At the bottom of each booking, you will notice there is a hyperlink called 'comtrol'. Click this link and a window appears where a user can 'check them out' of the Comtrol system, which will block them from being able to receive a posting from a POS or Call Accounting to their folio. Note that if this guest wishes - and the hotel staff - to allow postings after this was done, do the reverse and click the 'comtrol' link and a window appears where a user can 'check in' and the booking will then be able to receive a posting from a POS or Call Accounting to their folio. | |
