Sorting Charge Items, Very Long Inventory Item ListsWhen customers have long Inventory Item lists, there are two ways to handle this situation to make retrieval of the right Charge Item easy: 1) We have a 'sort' field for each Inventory Item so you can control the sorting order of the Items in the drop-down list. This makes management predictable and easy. 2) By grouping Items in an alphabetical sort order, long lists are managed via common phrases, such as: 'Wine - Cabernet Napa Ridge 2012' and 'Wine - Merlot Russian Hill 2012' easy to select. Simply clicking a key on the keyboard takes you right to the place you need to be, such as typing a "W' will bring up all Items starting with 'W'. Note these Inventory Items can be imported via a spreadsheet, making organization easier. | |
