How do I upgrade to the newest version of Desktop Pro or Lite?
BookingCenter moves through Version numbers every few years for our Desktop PMS. When we move from Version 4 to Version 5, or from Version 5 to Version 6, this is considered an 'upgrade' as opposed to an 'update'.
We are currently selling Version 6 for Windows and Mac, and Version 7 only for Mac OS X 10.7 (Mavericks - see: https://support.bookingcenter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/527 for the article on Version 7 for Mac). If you desire Version 7 for Mac, please review this page: http://www.bookingcenter.com/products/ver7_upgrade.html and contact us if you desire to upgrade to Version 7. Windows Version 7 will be coming in March, 2014.

If you have an older version of BookingCenter, and no older CD-ROM, and you need to re-install the older version, you can login to the Support Area at http://support.bookingcenter.com and download the version for BookingCenter that you are registered for.
If you download from our public website, the current version is 6, and you will need to either purchase a NEW license - if it's a new property you are setting up - or an UPGRADE to use Version 6. Once you have purchased an upgrade, specific instruction will be sent for how to upgrade to the latest version.
