Preparing Your Rooms for Importing Into BookingCenter

The BookingCenter Desktop and MyPMS software allows you to import Room Types (or categories) from previous management systems or from databases . We provide a sample database file (comma delimited or CSV) for download to prepare this file for import into BookingCenter.

In order to use the sample file, it's assumed you have a data tool (such as Excel) to ‘massage’ your Room Type data into the room_type_import.csv file referenced here (at the bottom of this ticket) so that BookingCenter can import your room records.

Our advise is the following:

--> Open the .cvs sample file referenced above in Excel.

--> Fill in each row with the right data, using the 'header row' descriptions provided on the file referenced above

Class: 0-Apartment 1-Condominium 2-Cottage 3-House 4-Room 5-Run of House 6-Studio 7-Suite 8-Villa 99-Unknown 

Quality: 0-Premium 1-Deluxe 2-Superior3-Standard 4-Moderate 5-Economy 99-Unknown

BedTypes: 0-Single 1-Double 2-Twin 3-Queen 4-King 5-Waterbed 6-Pullout
