Online Booking: Why is the status of my online booking 'unconfirmed ' or 'confirmed'?

All online bookings that PROCESS credit card deposits at the time of booking are set as status: confirmed. This only applies to users using one of our Point of Sale products who receives an authorization for an amount equal to their deposit policy.

All online bookings that CAPTURE credit card deposits at the time of booking are set as status: unconfirmed and any user can 'confirm' them (or cancel them) via the Members Area or your PMS.

GDS and Global Booking Network bookings come as status: unconfirmed, to draw attention to themselves and remind you to charge a deposit (if appropriate). Once you have charged a deposit, set the Booking to confirmed.
