Right to be Forgotten by a Guest, How Can BookingCenter Assist?
Posted by Jeff Tweddale on 05 Feb 2020 02:22 PM

If a customer request their "Right to be Forgotten", we send them to the Property who may had a booking with them, and that property can remove them, as documented in the Privacy Page below.  Thus, the right can be retrieved via the place the Guest made the booking. When making this request, we usually send an email both to the Property and teh Guest's email as follows:

BookingCenter has no personal data on you, but you did book with a BookingCenter customer in: (whatever date was the booking and the property name and city/state/country).

You can read about our Privacy Policy, data retention, storage, and conformance to California and the EU's GDPR Policy at: https://www.bookingcenter.com/privacypolicy/

Let us know how else we can assist.

It is then the Property's duty to remove the Guest's data as detailed in the Privacy Page.
