Error when upgrading to Version 6 "This data contains some old type data which first must be converted using the Omnis 7 v3.x data file tools.If you receive this error: "This data contains some old type data which first must be converted using the Omnis 7 v3.x data file tools." ...your BookingCenter datafile needs to be run through an update using the Version 5.15 Updater before it can be upgraded to Version 6. Do this by logging in to the BookingCenter Support Area (http://support.BookingCenter.com). Login with your ID and password to download the 5.15 Updater for your computer platform (ie, make sure you download the Macintosh for Mac or the Windows version for your Windows machine.) Once you have saved the BookingCenter updater on your computer (for Windows this file is called "bcupdate.exe" and on Mac it is called "bcupdate.hqx"), quit BookingCenter. It is advisable to ALWAYS make a backup of your datafile!!! Once you have a copy of your datafile stored somewhere, double click the new updater file you downloaded. The update program will prompt you to locate BookingCenter on your computer to update it. After you have done this, run the Upgrader to Version 6 application again and the datafile will no longer give you that error and all will go to Version 6 smoothly.
